The stones to build these structures came from many miles away and it is mind boggling to think of how they transported all the materials to the top of the mountain. This site had been covered by dirt until less than a hundred years ago when archeologists began to unearth the structures. I would not be surprised it there are still a couple of surprises still waiting around here.
